I appreciate that I am able to live, work, and play on land that was first inhabited by the Dene Suliné, Cree, Nakota Sioux and Saulteaux peoples. I acknowledge and value that Indigenous people who lived here before me cared for this space long before I arrived. With this in mind, I will also attempt to care for this land as part of my acknowledgement of, and role in, reconciliation.
